Life, summer plans, con plans, etc. *__*

Just a small update~

I’m on spring break now, so I am getting a bit more time to draw, but as soon as this week is over, all my free time will be gone again because of school. I don’t want to talk about how I feel about school and life now, though. D:

Over the summer, I will be studying abroad in Hakodate, Japan for 8 weeks and then flying out to Australia to spend some time with ~Leptir! :3 ♥ If all goes well, ~Jaquii will be joining me there~
I technically have to leave before the spring quarter at UoC is over; this means I don't really get a break, and that makes me a bit uncomfortable. xD This is the first time I am able to do something like this, however, so I am looking forward to it.

Also, I will be seeing Franz Ferdinand (this April) and NIN (May) in Chicago with ~Jaquii before I leave! Two concerts to distract me from how miserable school makes me feel. 8D Upset that I'll be missing the Manson show in July, tho. ;__;

As far as con plans go, just the following are planned for now since I'll be gone during the summer:
Anime Central – May 8-10, 2009
Anime Weekend Atlanta – September 18-20, 2009

On a related note, ACen sucks for never inviting Jrock artists anymore. ;___; LAME.

It's because the guy in charge of ACen doesn't like visual kei. He's stated more than enough "this is an anime con not a jrock con". He's just a dick head.

Cure USA actually offered ACen any band they wanted (from inside sources I know.) ACen turned them down like assholes because that same dick head is in charge ever since SID. To be honest ACen is just not worth returning to next year. Especially because it will no longer be in the Hyatt.

No one knows where it will be next time yet unfortunately :/. All I can think of is somewhere further into the city, which wont be big enough and will suck.

As for SID it has to do with a lot of stupid things. I'm not sure what happened exactly but I know they got someone else for the band choices after it.

I transferred there this past year~ *__* I'll be majoring in East Asian Languages & Civilizations with a concentration in Japanese. Tuition = way too expensive. ;__;
